Dr. Norgen Wilson committed to Constituency 5

DrNorgenWilsonSKNLPAnnualConference2014(ZIZ News) — Dr. Norgen Wilson says he is committed to the people of Constituency number five.

Speaking at “Conversations for Progress” held in Sandy Point, the St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Party candidate for the area expressed his commitment to working with the government to ensure continued development within the Constituency despite the fact that he is not yet a Minister of government.

He said, “Here in Sandy Point, I believe that people have recognized who they can turn to when they are in need of assistance and I must say to you that that assistance, which I give, comes through lobbying, it comes through sponsorship and sometimes it comes out of my pocket. However, I am committed to the cause. I do it because I love my community.”

Dr. Wilson went on to ask Prime Minister the Rt. Hon. Dr. Denzil Douglas to continue the work being done in the area until he is elected.

“Honourable Prime Minister, I want to say that I have full confidence that I will be seated at your right hand, but I don’t want you to wait until I get there. This process must be continuous. I want you to work on the projects for me until I get there,” Dr. Wilson stated.

Dr. Norgen Wilson will run against the Hon. Shawn Richards in the upcoming general elections.
