(ZIZ)—The George Moody Stuart Primary School held what was seen as a unique event, a “Coconut Grove Festival”, as a means of educating its students on the use and source of this fruit.
Coconut was used in a creative and unique way, to teach the students that it can be used for just about anything.
School Principal Elizabeth Condell explained to ZIZ News they wanted to do something different for the students.
The festival displayed arts and craft, songs and poems using the coconut as their main theme.
Condell said parents, teachers and even the prisoners chipped in to make their Coconut Grove Festival a success.
