Government spreads cheer at JNF

ZIZ News — It felt alot like Christmas at the Joseph N France General Hospital.

A grand choir made up of the Governor General- Sir Edmund Lawrence, Mrs. Lawrence, Prime Minister-The Rt.  Hon Dr. Denzil Douglas, Minister of Health – Hon Marcella Liburd and The Permanent Secretary -Andrew Skerrit helped to spread the spirit of Christmas to the sick and shut in at the general hospital.

Decked out in the appropriate colors for the occasion, the group along with the medical and administrative staff made the rounds, visiting the wards, singing Christmas Carols, presenting gifts and extending holiday wishes.

This tour of the wards at the hospital has become a tradition over the years with the patients looking forward to socializing with the officials.
