Kittitian Superstar Jrs Third Sing-Off

ZIZ News…Aug 17, 2012 — The second batch singers in the 6-9 age category for Kittitian Superstar Jrs 2012 brought a wide variety of performance skills.

The show kicked off with Tresjuer Didier singing Etana’s ‘Roots’. Her voice and image were in sync with the song making her entire performance very impacting.

Her supporters’ applause was also very moving and set the mood to cheery for the rest of the show.

Next on stage was Azaria Pennyfeather who performed the ever popular ‘Jesus Take The Wheel’ by Carrie Underwood. According to the judges they heard potential however she had difficulty maintaining the key.

Turquosa Henry, daughter of past Kittitian Superstar finalist Ticoya Henry, wowed everyone with her voice and skills. The judges described it as a remarkable performance of Whitney Houston’s ‘I Look to You’… for someone just 7 years old.

Finally, Keyanna Murray performed Beyonce’s ‘Best I Never Had’. The judges noted that she had a powerful start and encouraged her to practice maintaining her confidence on stage.

That ended the third live television sing-off for the third season of the LIME Kittitian Superstar Juniors Competition.

All singers in the age 6-9 category will advance to the semi-finals, whereas, two performers from last Thursday’s sing-off for the age 10-12 category were eliminated, namely Alyssa Joseph and Milano Williams.

The LIME Kittitian Superstar Juniors Competition is aired on ZIZ channel 5 on Thursdays at 8:30 pm.
