Ministry of Sports congratulates Kim Collins on his exploits abroad

ZIZ News…May 17, 2011 – The Ministry continues to view with a sense of pride the continued exploits of our Sprint Legend Kim Collins on the international, regional and local athletics field. The latest being at the IAAF World Challenge Series Grand Prix meet held in Kawasaki Japan where Collins ran and won 100m beating Australian Aaron Rouge-Street and Japan’s Ryota Yamagata.

We note that Kim continues to impress us all with victory after victory.

His performance also on Sunday May 15th, 2011 at the Manchester Great City Games where he place 2nd in the 200m also shows that Kim Collins who came out of retirement in January continues to have one of the best season’s of his stellar career.

We therefore want to express our sincere satisfaction that Kim continues to be a model of consistency for our young athletes, that hard work and perseverance yields positive results.

We take this opportunity to congratulate St. Kitts and Nevis own Kim Collins on these impressive performances and extend best wishes to him and his Family as he continues to make himself, his Family and the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis Proud.
