Nagico Assists Elsroy Powel

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts May 14, 2012: Elsroy Powell, one of St. Kitts’ promising cricketers, is seeking to resurrect his cricketing career. To this end he was able to secure a contract with the Bankfoot Cricket Club in England.

NAGICO Insurances has decided to lend some financial support to Mr. Powell by donating EC $1,000 towards his travel expenses.

Mr. Steve Saunders, Sale and Marketing Officer at NAGICO, in presenting the cheque to Mr. Powell, said that the Company is very excited and pleased to assist Mr. Powell with his desire to propel his cricketing career to another level.

“The company sets very high standards in its personnel, likewise it expects no less from individuals who it associates with. You are aware that the desired results can only be achieved with hard work and dedication,” Mr. Saunders stated.

He further admonished Mr. Powell to utilize this second opportunity given to him wisely and ensure his performances are noteworthy.

Mr. Powell in accepting the cheque thanked the management and staff of NAGICO immensely for their kind support. He promised that he would endeavour to do his best so that the Federation on a whole would be proud of him.

Mr. Powell was expected to depart the Federation on May 15, 2012 for England.
