National Bank commended

(ZIZ News) — Prime Minister and Minister Of Finance Dr. Hon. Timothy Harris has commended the St. Kitts Nevis Anguilla National Bank for its performance during the last financial year.

He said “It is really to record appreciation and commendation to the board of directors of The St. Kitts Nevis Anguilla National Bank, its Chief Executive Officer and management team on another excellent performance. But most important is the customers and the staff who throughout the years have given National the loyal support; National being, for many in St. Kitts and Nevis, ‘our bank’.”

Dr Harris says the success of the bank is directly related to the state of the Federation’s economy stating, “The strong performance of the performance of the financial sector of course of which the bank—commercial banks—are the primary elements is of course correlated to the health of the St. Kitts Nevis economy. That health has been reliably put as sterling by every credible financial and other institutions dealing with the realities of economic development.”

At the bank’s Annual General Meeting on January 21st it was revealed that the company’s total assets moved from 3.1 billion to 3.6 billion dollars.
