BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, NOVEMBER 14TH 2012 (CUOPM) – Nationals of St. Kitts and Nevis are being encouraged to continue to invest in the multi-million dollar Beacon Heights Housing Development Project, financed by Social Security.

Prime Minister the Rt. Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas during his weekly radio programme “Ask the Prime Minister” on Tuesday said the Minister of Social Security, Deputy Prime Minister Hon. Sam Condor, in his last report to the Cabinet indicated that Beacon Heights had settled down and there are now several homes on display.

“I would want to use this programme to encourage our people to continue to invest in Beacon Heights, the homes are beautiful, the sites that they have been built on are beautiful sites with commanding views of the ocean as well as the rolling and mountainous hills behind them. I think this an excellent, exciting place for people to live,” said Prime Minister Douglas.

He said that the Cabinet continues to provide as much support as possible to the project so that it will not only be successful but also so that it can provide the necessary economic activity needed to be generated.

“My government gives full support to Beacon Heights, I hope that the issues that were related there that have settled and so we can move on,” the Prime Minister told listeners.
