Police Updates (December 30, 2014)

Shani Moore of Caines Estate, Dieppe bay was formally arrested and charged for Battery On Police, Wearing of Camouflage, Resisting Arrest and Obstruction, which were committed on 26th December 2014.

Quincy Duncan of Pond Road was formally arrested and charged for Throwing Missiles to Danger of Persons, which was committed on 26th December 2014.

Shakeel Ryan was formally arrested and charged for Carrying Abroad an Offensive Weapon, which was committed on 26th December 2014.

Ishan James of Upper Cayon was formally arrested and charged for Indecent Language, Refusing to Give Name, Battery on Police and Wounding, which were committed on 26th December 2014.

Gerald Stapleton of Sandy Point was formally arrested and charged for Carrying Abroad an Offensive Weapon to Wit a Knife, which was committed on 27th December 2014.

Akil Clavier of Spooners, Cayon was formally arrested and charged for Obstruction, which was committed on 27th December 2014.

Damien Nisbett of Newton Ground was formally arrested and charged for Possession of Cannabis, which was committed on 26th December 2014.

Javed Galloway of Shadwell was formally arrested and charged for Driving Without Valid Driver’s Licence, Driving An Unregistered Vehicle and Driving Without Insurance, which were committed on 27th December 2014/

Louis Caines of Church Ground was formally arrested and charged for Driving a Motor Vehicle without Having Insurance, which was committed on 26th December 2014.

Leslie Stewart of Church Ground was formally arrested and charged for Permitting another Person to Drive Her Motor Jeep When Not Insured, which was committed on 26th December 2014.

Akeem Galloway of Shadwell Housing Project was formally arrested and charged for Possession of Cannabis, which was committed on 23rd December 2014.

Kareem Jeffers of Ponds Pasture was formally arrested and charged for Attempted Murder, which was committed on 21st December 2014.

Darryl Harris of Conaree was formally arrested and charged for Building Breaking With Intent, which was committed on 23rd December 2014 and Malicious Damage, which was committed between 22nd and 23rd December 2014 to the property of Ricardo Building Centre and Hardware Ltd.

Jawon Warner, Chesley Harris and Joseph Charles of Sandy Point were formally arrested and charged for Malicious Damage, which was committed on 21st December 2014 at Sandy Point.

Traffic Accident in Half Way Tree

Officers of Sandy Point Police Station responded to a report made of traffic accident that occurred along Island Main Road at Halfway Tree around 4:35am. Initial investigation reveals that Motor Bus P1113 owned by Faith Tabernacle Church of God and driven by Leyton Gumbs was travelling from Lamberts Village to Sandy Point, when he tried to overtake and collided into Motor Jeep 108 driven by Cuthbert Sebastian. Both drivers were transported to J.N.F Hospital. Measurements and explanation were recorded.

Traffic Accident in Clarke’s Estate, Nevis

Officers of Cotton Ground Police Station responded to a report made of traffic accident that occurred along the Island Main Road at Clarke’s Estate in the vicinity of Four Seasons Hotel Golf Course on 26th December 2014 at around 12:30pm. Initial investigation reveals that Motor Jeep P7879 owned by Marvella Wallace of New Cut and driven by Siddain King of River Path, Gingerland was travelling from Four Seasons to Gingerland, when he collided into a curb wall on the mountain side of the road. He was taken to Alexandra Hospital for treatment to injuries sustained. Explanation and damages were recorded and driver.
