Teams Ready For Caribbean Cup

(ZIZ)– The coaches of the teams participating in the Caribbean Football Union Caribbean Cup are confident as they prepare to take the field at Warner Park over the next few days.

During a press conference on Tuesday, Coach of the St. Kitts-Nevis team, Jeffrey “Pedro” Hazel said although they are going up against top teams from around the region, there is no pressure.

“We’re at home. We just want to please ourselves first and the fans and do very well. So there’s no pressure on us to do very well. We know we’re gonna do very well in this tournament”

Assistant Coach for the St. Lucia National Team, Anthony Jn Baptiste, said his team is also ready and it has a score to settle with some of the other countries.

“We’ve been here for the World Cup Qualifier and so there’s no pressure on us. Certainly we have a score to settle with St. Kitts and also Guyana so there is no pressure on us. We’ve come here, we’re gonna enjoy the games, and give the Kittitians a nice brand of football,” he said.
