The Police reaching out to the rural community

ZIZ News…Jan 17, 2012 – The police in District B is reaching out to the neighboring communities in an effort to engage them in various aspects of their plan to keep the communities safe.

To this end the police in Tabernacle will be holding a Town Hall meeting at the Edgar T. Morris (Tabernacle) Primary School on Thursday 19th January 2012, at 6:30 pm.

Inspector Vaughan Henderson the Sub-Divisional Commander will make a feature presentation surrounding the importance of good police – community relations, the impact of the fear of crime, crime prevention tips and the role of police to protect and to serve.

Persons will also be given an opportunity to field questions and make their contribution by giving suggestions and ideas as to how there could be a better police/community relationship.

All interested persons, in particular the residents form Lodge Village to Belvue via Molineaux, are invited.

All are asked to be punctual.
