Tourism Industry holding its own

(ZIZ)–Prime Minister, The Right Hon Dr Denzil Douglas says tourism continues to be the driving force behind St Kitts and Nevis’ economy.

During this week’s edition of Ask The PM, Prime Minister Douglas says the Tourism Industry was able remain sustainable even in the face of the global economic downtown.

The Prime Minister particularly made mention of the increase in direct airlift to and from St Kitts’ Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport on a weekly basis.

Prime Minister Douglas also commended the Minister of Tourism, Hon Richard Skerritt for his role in turning around this important industry.
