Two juveniles on probation for breaking the law

ZIZ News…Jan 19, 2013 — A juvenile was convicted for Larceny and another for receiving and were both placed on probation for 12 months in the sum of $2000.00 each.

According to a release from the Press and Publications Officer, they were also ordered to continue to attend school and to observe a 7:00pm to 6:00am curfew at their parents’ home.

Meanwhile at the St. Christopher Circuit Court, Patrick Hodge of Verchilds who was indicted for Indecent Assault and pleaded not guilty on his earlier arraignment on 15/01/13 changed his plea to guilty.

He was remanded into custody to await sentencing pending an assessment report and will be sentenced at a later date.

In other Police news…On Thursday 17 January 2013, the Special Services Unit (SSU) in its continued efforts to rid the Country of Illegal Drugs, Fire Arms and Ammunitions carried out a search at Mad House Alley which resulted the discovery of thirteen (13) .40 rounds of ammunition.

At the moment no one is held accountable but investigations are ongoing.

In an arrest made over the past week, Lynval Challenger of Lamberts Housing was formally charged for the offence of Possession of Cannabis which was committed on 17/1/2013 at Lamberts.
