EC$500 Cash for First Calypso Release for Sugar Mas 52

In line with the St Kitts Nevis National Carnival Committee’s (SKNNCC) commitment to support the local music industry, a cash award of EC$500.00 will be given to the senior calypsonian who releases the first calypso song for Sugar Mas 52.

Back To School Opening Ceremony Held

French to be taught at Irishtown Primary School

The Ministry of Education intends to make the Irishtown Primary School the School of Linguistics and will be offering French when the new academic year begins in September. The aim is also to have other languages taught there eventually.
