Changes to improve Regional Trade

ZIZ News…5th June 2013 — A consultant working with The Ministry of Trade says there needs to be several changes at a regional level to make it easier to do business within the Caribbean.

Noel Watson, CEO of A to Z Information was one of the speakers at a Caricom trade project workshop at the ocean terrace inn yesterday.

He says countries need to take a serious look at administrative procedures to make moving and working within Caricom easier.

One suggestion was to put the processes online.

Watson says by tackling specific areas such as administration they can get to a point where doing business and moving throughout Caricom becomes as easy as possible.
