Skelec Garden Hotspurs 3–0 Mantab FC

Hotspurs:  Jamarie James 11′, 15′, 77′ (hat-trick)

Jamarie James was in a class of his own on Thursday evening, netting a devastating hat-trick to hand Skelec Garden Hotspurs a commanding 3-0 victory over Mantab FC. James struck early in the 11th and 15th minutes to put the game to bed before half-time, then wrapped up his treble with a composed finish in the 77th. His performance was the individual highlight of Match Week 14 and keeps Spurs firmly in the hunt for the Division One title and July playoff glory. For Mantab, who had earlier surprised Lodge Patriots this season, the defeat is a setback to their own top-four aspirations.

KFC Trinity/Challengers United 6–1 Rivers of Living Water FC

Challengers United:  Curvis Collins 23′, 65′ — Kaylon Liburd 34′, 90+3′ — C’Steve Wrensford 64′ — Jabari Willett 90+1′

Rivers:  Oldain Powell 17′

KFC Trinity/Challengers United put in a dominant display to thrash Rivers of Living Water FC 6-1. Curvis Collins and Kaylon Liburd both bagged braces, with C’Steve Wrensford and Jabari Willett also getting on the scoresheet. Rivers pulled one back through Oldain Powell in the 17th minute but were ultimately overwhelmed. The heavy victory strengthens Trinity’s goal difference — a potentially crucial factor as the race for the top four reaches its climax.

607 Construction Lodge Patriots 1–0 CIBC Village Galaxy

Lodge Patriots:  Vinceroy Nelson 64′

In the most eagerly anticipated match of the week, Lodge Patriots edged out Village Galaxy with a solitary Vinceroy Nelson goal in the 64th minute. Both sides went into the break goalless in a tense, tightly contested first half, before Nelson’s composed finish proved the difference. The win consolidates Patriots’ position at the top of the Division One standings and puts them firmly in control of their own destiny ahead of the July playoffs. Village Galaxy, in fine recent form, will be disappointed to leave empty-handed.

Conaree Fireballs International 3–0 Elco Ltd Security Forces United

Conaree Fireballs:  Sylvester Browne 15′ — Xavier Payen 82′ — Lajaune Byron 88′

Conaree Fireballs International claimed an emphatic 3-0 victory over Elco Ltd Security Forces United in the Friday night late fixture. Sylvester Browne opened the scoring in the 15th minute to give Conaree the half-time lead, before Xavier Payen and Lajaune Byron added late goals in the 82nd and 88th minutes to seal the win. It was a professional performance from Conaree and provides some welcome relief after a difficult campaign. For Security Forces, the result leaves them in a precarious position in the standings.

Fast Cash/MBT Saddlers United 1–1 T. Fraites & Assoc. Molineux Pitbulls

Saddlers United:  Jarin Clarke 1′

Molineux Pitbulls:  Ronvyl Williams 45′

Sunday’s finale at The Gardens produced a gripping 1-1 draw between Saddlers United and Molineux Pitbulls. Jarin Clarke gave Saddlers a dream start, striking in the very first minute, but Molineux showed tremendous character as Ronvyl Williams levelled matters right on the stroke of half-time. Neither side could find a winner in the second half, leaving both clubs frustrated — and both still within reach of a playoff position, though time is running out. The point does little for either side’s ambitions, but underlines just how tight the race for the top four remains.
