(ZIZ News) — Lifelong learning is a new area of focus for the Ministry of Education.
That is according to Education Minister, Hon. Shawn Richards who says continuous education, even into the later stages of life, are important.
“We have also been speaking about lifelong learning so whilst it is that we focus on Early Childhood Education, primary education, secondary education and tertiary education, we are also developing a focus to ensure that our people can continue to learn for the rest of their lives,” he said.
While speaking on this week’s edition of “Working For You”, the Education Minister encouraged persons to take advantage of every opportunity to learn.
“We want persons to take advantage of continuing education classes that we offer through various mediums,” he said.
