Festival Minister says Music Market – Perfect outlet for local artiste

ZIZ NEWS…21 May 2010 – The Minister, who is overseeing the annual St Kitts Music Festival, has fully endorsed the idea of a St Kitts Music Market.

The Music Market is the brainchild of local reggae icon, Masud Sadiki. The intention is to maximize on the promotion opportunities during the Festival and sell local music to residents and visitors.

The Honorable Richard ‘Ricky’ Skerritt spoke with ZIZ News on the main reason they gave Masud the “green light” to implement his idea.

The Minister continued that the Music Market is the perfect outlet where published music from local sources can be promoted.

Two Music Markets will be erected; in the Independence Square and at Warner Park, inside the venue.
