Prime Minister Harris pledges support for Taiwan

(ZIZ News)– Prime Minister the Hon. Dr. Timothy Harris has pledged to continue offering support to the Republic of China – Taiwan in whatever way possible.

Dr. Harris made the comments during a tour of the St. Kitts Eco-Park on Monday.

Over the years St. Kitts has supported Taiwan’s request to join various international bodies.

Prime Minister Harris told Resident Taiwanese Ambassador, His Excellency Miguel Tsao, that Taiwan will continue to receive the support of the government and the people of St. Kitts and Nevis.

“His government will continue to long have the support of the government and people of St. Kitts and Nevis. And this is due, in no small measure, to the significant contribution that he has made to the strengthening of the bonds of friendship, increasing the opportunities for our people in education, in technology, and a wide array of areas,” he said.
