Hotel Operation Manager

Qualifications

  • Manage the daily running of the hotel, including the restaurant and bar; ensure that the whole operation of all the departments are in order
  • Make feasible business strategies and targets
  • Plan and organize accommodation, catering and other hotel services
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with visitors and clients
  • Organize marketing activities, such as promotional events and discount schemes to reach a broader audience
  • Hold regular briefings and meetings with all heads of departments to discuss routine operational matters, departmental performance targets and guest feedback
  • Manage budgets and financial plans as well as controlling expenditure
  • Monitor and evaluate staff recruitment and training
  • Ensure full compliance to hotel operating controls, SOP’s, policies, procedures and service standards
  • Prepare and manage schedules and shifts and ensure the healthy teamwork environment
  • Manage the relationships with contractors and suppliers

Qualifications

  • A college degree in business administration, hotel and restaurant management, or related majors
  • More than 3 years’ experience in the hotel or hospitality industry in a managerial position
  • Great understanding of the hotel industry practices
  • Outstanding interpersonal communication and customer service skills
  • Exceptional leadership abilities and good at motivating staff
  • Details driven and organized
  • English is a must, multiple language capability is a plus
  • Energetic, passionate and patient

Restaurant & Bar Operation Manager

Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily running of the restaurant and bar in a good standing
  • Organize marketing activities, such as promotional events and discount schemes to reach a broader audience
  • Prepare reports at the end of the shift/week, including cost control, budget, staff control, food control and sales
  • Plan and coordinate menus, working closely with the head chef to ensure the most agreeable menu options
  • Recruit, train, manage and motivate staff
  • Respond efficiently and accurately to customer queries and complaints, maximize customer satisfaction
  • Regularly review product quality and research potential vendors
  • Monitor inventory and ensure sufficient stock
  • Ensure full compliance to restaurant operating controls, SOP’s, policies, procedures and service standards
  • Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations

Qualifications

  • More than 3 years’ experience in the food and bar industry in a managerial position
  • Acute financial and operational management skills
  • Familiarity with restaurant management software and systems
  • Excellent inter-personal communication skills
  • English is a must, multiple language capability is a plus
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Strong leadership and highly motivational
  • Extensive food and beverage knowledge
  • Energetic, passionate and patient
