SKTA Takes St. Kitts Roadshow Across Caribbean

BASSETERRE — The St. Kitts Tourism Authority (SKTA) is on the move across the Caribbean, conducting back-to-back trade engagements in Barbados and Antigua as part of a targeted regional sales offensive aimed at keeping St. Kitts front and centre with travel professionals.

Leading the charge is Drunisha Hanley, SKTA’s Caribbean Sales and Events Officer, who has been meeting directly with travel agencies across both islands to update agents on the destination’s latest offerings and gather on-the-ground intelligence on shifting traveller preferences.

In Barbados on March 17th, Hanley visited Indar Weir Travel Centre and Destinations Unlimited Travel Agency, presenting St. Kitts’ signature experiences and diving into market demand patterns. The discussions went beyond a standard sales pitch — agency partners received “actionable insights to better position the destination and enhance the traveller experience,” according to the SKTA.

Days later, on Thursday March 20th, she touched down in Antigua, visiting five agencies in a single day: Wings Inc, Innovative Travel and Tours, World Star Travel, Regal Travel and Tours, and Carib World Travel. The sessions delivered destination updates built around the island’s unique selling points and immersive experiences, while also generating valuable feedback on current booking trends and customer demand.

SKTA says the intelligence gathered from these in-person visits is actively shaping the Authority’s strategies to strengthen St. Kitts’ regional positioning and drive increased arrivals from Caribbean source markets.
