St. Peters, Cayon, Old Road Win

BASSETERRE — Development Bank St. Peters, Azul Cayon Rockets and MFCR United Old Road Jets recorded victories Saturday in Week 16 of the 2025-2026 NBG/SKNFA Premier League at the National Bank Group Technical Center. Old Road remains undefeated and had already clinched the regular season championship last week.

St. Peters opened the day with a 1-0 win over Honda Newtown United. Rocco Browne scored in the 17th minute and St. Peters held the lead through halftime and full time. Cayon Rockets defeated St. Kitts Concrete Masters Sandy Point 3-0. After a scoreless first half, Mervin Lewis scored a hat trick with goals in the 58th, 63rd and 88th minutes.

Old Road Jets beat Tropical Blossom Hot Springs Bath United 9-1. J’quante Fraser recorded a hat trick with goals in the 4th, 12th and 15th minutes.

Old Road led 5-0 at halftime after additional goals from Nequan Browne in the 39th minute and Adondre Eddy in the 45th. Eddy added a second in the 54th minute. Tiquanny Williams scored in the 49th, Jestin Henry in the 69th and Anwa Springer in the 89th. Chris Browne scored for Bath United in the 48th minute.

Old Road tops the table with 46 points from 16 matches, 15 wins and one draw, and has already secured the regular season title. With the championship decided, clubs are now competing for four playoff spots. Newtown United is second with 31 points. St. Peters and Cayon Rockets are tied on 28 points, with St. Peters third on goal difference.

St. Paul’s United sits fifth with 27 points, and Village Superstars is sixth with 25 points. Sandy Point and Bath United are tied at the bottom with six points each. The bottom two teams will be relegated to Division One when the season ends.
