Who Gets The Vaccine?

Basseterre, St. Kitts, February 3rd, 2021 (ZIZ News)   Top health officials have given more information on Covid-19 vaccines to be allotted to the region this year specifically focusing on distribution and the timetable.

In Tuesday night’s edition of Leadership Matters Medical Chief of Staff at the JNF General Hospital, Dr. Cameron Wilkinson gave an outline of who would receive the vaccine first.

Regarding when the vaccines would be distributed Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Hazel Laws explained the timetable laid out for the region’s allotment, noting that the vaccine will be sent in batches.

Dr. Laws also noted that taking the vaccine will not be mandatory but the ministry is providing information to the public so everyone can make an informed decision.
