The upcoming general elections will be conducted under unusual circumstances this year with the current state of emergency regulations in place across the federation.

Based on the National Assembly Act, nominations for duly qualified candidates contesting in the twin island federation’s highly anticipated general election will take place on Wednesday 27th May 2020. 

Supervisor of Elections in St. Kitts and Nevis, Elvin Bailey said preparations are underway ahead of the 2020 General election which is just 2 weeks away. 

Prime Minister Dr. The Honourable Timothy Harris said the Government of St. Kitts and Nevis remains committed to the Rule of Law, as well as ensuring the safety of its citizens.
