Basseterre, St. Kitts, April 29, 2020 (ZIZ News): Flow St. Kitts-Nevis is committed to keeping customers connected while ensuring the safety of employees and their families.

This was the message shared by Acting General Manager of Flow St. Kitts, Michael Davis who was at the time delivering a presentation during the April 29 NEOC briefing at NEMA Conference room.

During his presentation he expressed how important it is for the company to provide reliable service during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“As a company we are deeply invested in the communities that we serve and now more than ever we understand the importance of providing a reliable network to enable our government, health care providers, educators and businesses to maintain vital connectivity to their operations and stakeholders”, Mr Davis noted.

Davis also explained that quite a number of safety measures have been implemented at the retail stores.

“We have enhanced our cleaning and hygiene protocols across all facilities including our two retail stores; we have installed and are installing physical barriers in our retail stores with protective equipment for our staff and customers and we have been vigorously and enforcing the social distancing protocols”, he said.

In doing its part to assist, Flow provided a free 150% upgrade in speed to the basic broadband package from 6 megabytes to 15 megabytes to allow for homeschooling and work from home during ongoing partial curfews and lock down regulations. Flow also assisted with the 311-hotline set up at no cost to the National COVID-19 Task Force.

The company recently announced that it has also zero-rated key access numbers which means that websites such as the COVID-19 official website can be accessed even if persons do not have data services.
