10-y-o Meleeka Mitchell, 12-y-o Omari Sterling of Norwood missing

KINGSTON, Jamaica — The police have activated a High Alert for 10-year-old Meleeka Mitchell, otherwise called ‘Jody’ and 12-year-old Omari Sterling, both of Paradise Norwood, St James, who went missing Sunday, July 13.

According to the police Corporate Communication Unit (CCU), Meleeka is of brown complexion, slim build and about 4-feet-5-inches tall. Omari is of dark complexion, slim build and is about 5 feet tall.

Reports from the Montego Bay Police are that about 12:45 pm, Meleeka and Omari left home with an adult to visit the One Man Beach in the parish.

When last seen Meleeka was wearing a black merino, pink and white shorts and a pair of black and white slippers and Omari was dressed in a burgundy shirt, black sweat pants and a pair of black shoes.

Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Meleeka and Omari is being asked to contact the Montego Bay Police at 684-9080, Police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.
