Police investigates gun and drug find

St. Kitts, (Friday 23rd April, 2010) — On Thursday 22nd April, 2010 at approximately 9:30pm, members of the Anti gang, CID and Defence Force executed a search warrant on a home at Lower Monkey Hill.

A quantity of cannabis, one mac10 semi automatic pistol with 17 rounds of 9mm ammunition were found and taken into police custody.

One person is in custody assisting the police with their investigations. Investigations are ongoing.

This is the 12th firearm to be taken in custody for 2010.
