NEVIS…MAY 29, 2010) – A further step on the road to the re-opening of the Four Seasons Resort-Nevis was taken when the St. Kitts-Nevis Resort LLC made a successful bid of US$ 86,651,000 for the property on Thursday afternoon at the High Court in Charlestown Nevis.
According to the Bailiff, Mr. John Arthurton, SKN Resort LLC paid a check of US$ 27,500,000 immediately following the bidding proceeding. The check was payable to the Registrar of the Supreme Court.
“A thirty day grace period with which the full payment of US$ 59,151,000 is left to be paid including all taxes accrued,” he said.
Two bidders took part in the bidding process. They were Linda Tulloch on behalf of Credit Agricole and Lea Land on behalf of St. Kitts-Nevis Resort LLC.
