Caldra Evans Eliminated As Six Contestants Remain
BASSETERRE — Caldra Evans was announced as eliminated from the R&B round of S.L. Horsfords Kittitian Superstar on Thursday night, leaving six contestants in the race for the 2026 title as the two groups came together for the reggae round.
The reggae round brought Group 1 and Group 2 onto the same stage for the first time this season. Results from that round will be announced next week.
Evans was the second contestant eliminated from the R&B round. Erica Doras Pemberton of Group 1 was the first to leave that round, while Keshauna Amos of Group 2 was earlier eliminated from the Gospel round.
The competition began with nine contestants divided into two groups. Three contestants remain from Group 1: Shakquanda Thomas, Romecia Prentice and Zariah Frances. Group 2 is now down to Venelle Powell, Shezlyn Ward and Angela Samuel.
Four contestants will advance to the Grand Finale, where each finalist will perform two songs, one a cappella and one with music.
S.L. Horsfords Kittitian Superstar airs every Thursday at 8 p.m. on ZIZ TV Channel 5 and across ZIZ social media platforms. The competition is produced by ZIZ Broadcasting Corporation, with S L Horsford and Company Limited as title sponsor.
The show was founded by ZIZ radio personality St. Clair “Chico” Guishard and returned this year after the 2025 season, which Iquanja Bradley won.
