CPL Launches Hall Of Fame

The Republic Bank Caribbean Premier League has announced the launch of its first hall of fame to honour the players and individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the tournament since it began in 2013.

The new hall of fame will induct two people each year–one player and one individual who has made a significant impact off the field.

The initiative is designed to recognise the people who have helped shape the growth and success of the CPL, both on and off the field.

The inaugural hall of fame gala will be held in Barbados on September 15th, bringing together members of the Caribbean cricket community and West Indies legends.

Proceeds from the event will support the Sir Clive Lloyd Healthcare Foundation, which is raising awareness of prostate cancer and improving access to early testing across the Caribbean through its great catch initiative.

The CPL says the hall of fame will become an annual feature of the tournament, with new inductees to be announced each year.
