‘Digicel wines and dines with its customers and the West Indies Cricket team’

ST. KITTS (JUNE 20, 2010) – Digicel West Indian stars added to the exotic ambience at Spice Mill when Digicel hosted its corporate and media representatives on Wednesday evening.

The specially invited guests were wined and dined in true Digicel style, as they networked with each other. Anticipation levels grew for the upcoming Digicel 2010 Series Test Match scheduled for 18th-22nd June.

Sean Latty, Digicel Country Manager, warmly welcomed the West Indies Cricket Team and wished the players the best of luck while they play in St. Kitts. He also extended his welcome to the Digicel customers present, and took the opportunity to express his heartfelt thanks to them for not only attending the cocktail, but for continuing to use Digicel as their Network of choice.

Of course, the Bigger, Better Network ensured that the night was filled with fun and surprises for all its guests. Digicel Blackberry Smartphones were given away to two randomly selected attendees. A.U. Browne, a representative of the media and winner of one of the handsets explained that this was his first time winning anything, and he was very pleased with Digicel for holding such a delightful event. The second winner, Mr. Lennox Griffin commended the Network for its outstanding products and services, and for always being a Company that gives back to the community and also its supporters. He further stated, “It is truly good to be on the Bigger, Better Network”.

The event concluded as members of the West Indies Cricket Team, Digicel customers and Digicel associates danced in celebration of the upcoming Series, to the sweet tunes of the KC-5 Band.
