Duggins Outlines Progress on Creative Arts Centre

BASSETERRE: Construction of the Creative Arts Centre is underway as the Department Of Creative Economy continues its efforts to expand support for the creative sector.

During Minister Samal Duggins’ quarterly press conference Wednesday morning, he explained that the project represents a major investment in the creative industry.

The project is also creating job opportunities for nationals, with more positions expected to become available as construction continues.

It was further revealed that a steering committee has been established to provide oversight as the project moves forward.

The creative arts centre is expected to serve as a hub for cultural development and create new opportunities for creatives in St. Kitts and Nevis.
