E-Services for Vehicle Licensing

Basseterre, St. Kitts, July 10, 2019 (ZIZ News): Officials of the St. Christopher and Nevis Inland Revenue Department stopped by the ZIZ studios on Wednesday July 10th for the show Traffic Talk to introduce their online vehicle licensing and renewal initiative that will be available to the public in the coming weeks.

Senior tax inspector, Oleah Prentice said this initiative will provide more convenience for customers

Ms. Prentice also shared the documents needed for new vehicle registrations that are to be scanned and uploaded to the website. These include the registration document received from the traffic department, inspection of the vehicle, insurance and an id.

For renewals persons should upload the inspection certificate and insurance as well as an id. Acceptable identifications include passport, national id, social security card or a driver’s license.

The official launch of the service will be on July 26th but persons are encouraged to visit the website at www.sknird.com to register and upload their documents.

For more information you can call the Inland Revenue Department at 465-8485 ext. 3400. Persons are reminded that you can renew your driver’s licences and pay taxes via the e-services section of the website.
