I-Sour Sop ready to defend his Culturama calypso crown

ZIZ News…May 11, 2010 – The reigning Nevis Culturama calypso king, King I-Sour Sop says he is ready to defend his crown against any competitor calling this year’s preparation, “the easiest one ever.”

With little over three months remaining until the 2010 Culturama celebrations, calypso king, King I-Sour Sop says preparations are going well as he looks to retain his crown.

He labeled his preparations this year as “the easiest ever” because he don’t have to worry about the preliminary rounds.

Speaking to ZIZ News, Calvin “I-Sour Sop” Johnson says it is good for his concentration and preparations not having to worry about the preliminary rounds.

In commenting on his songs for this year’s show, the Culturama king says his songs will primarily focus on the crime situation in the Federation.

In leading up to his Culturama calypso performances, King-I-Sour sop recently held a calypso youth tent to help shape the young aspiring calypsonians in the Federation.
