The LIAT flight attendant who came into Barbados with 11 pounds of cocaine in her handbag managed to pay the full BDS$52,000 (US$26,000) in fines imposed on her when she appeared in court yesterday and pleaded guilty to drug charges.
Deann Pat Portia Plummer, a St. Lucian national, was fined BDS$25,000 (US$12,500) forthwith on each charge of possession and importation of cocaine.
