LIAT Reduces Flights Due To Unscheduled Aircraft Maintenance
Caribbean airline LIAT says it is working to resume its full schedule of flights by next week, after Friday announcing unscheduled maintenance on two aircraft.
Chief Executive Officer Julie Reifer-Jones said in a statement that the unscheduled maintenance would see the aircraft out of service for several days.
Reifer-Jones emphasised that the safety and comfort of passengers was the top priority for the company and that the carrier was working to return to its full flight schedule by Tuesday 15th October.
