Local artiste Infamous to perform at 14th Annual Music Festival


ZIZ News…April 8, 2010 – Local singing sensation Kervin Benjamin known in the music circles as “Infamous” is the first artiste to sign a contract this year to perform at the 14th annual St Kitts Music Festival.

The signing ceremony took place at the St. Kitts Marriot Resort.

According to the Chairman of the St Kitts Music Festival, Faron Lawrence, Infamous represents the future of music in the Federation and complemented him on his clean lyrics that all can enjoy.

Entering in style, the man of the hour, “Infamous” said he is humbled to have been given the opportunity to perform on the Music Festival stage, which is something he had always dreamt of doing. He also assured his fans and every other spectator who will be at the show, of a performance they will remember.

Since his appearance on the local scene Infamous has delivered hit songs such as “Feel like crying”, “We miss you” and “Rich Life.”

Minister with responsibility for the festival the Hon. Richard Skerritt also addressed the ceremony and called on everyone to support the rising star and give him encouragement as he tries to make it big on the international scene. Skerritt said the support from persons in St. Kitts and Nevis will not be enough and he needs the wider base of fans.

The 14th annual St Kitts Music Festival takes place from June 24 to 26, 2010, with “Infamous” scheduled to perform on the 26th along with other local and international artistes.
