Mona Road St Andrew blocked after tanker fire

ST ANDREW, Jamaica — The police a short while ago issued an advisory urging members of the public to use alternative routes of Old Hope Road or Gordon Boulevard in Kingston 6 as a section of Mona Road is now impassable.

Earlier today a gas tanker caught fire along Mona Road blanketing the area in smoke and blocking traffic along the busy thoroughfare.

Meanwhile the police are confirming that no one was injured in the incident.
