More Illegal Firearms Recovered

ZIZ News…30 04 2010 – As a result of the continued assistance from the general public two(2) more illegal firearms have been taken into police custody.

According to a release from the Press and Public Relations office of the Police Force, during a joint operation at about 4.30 this morning (Friday 30th April 2010) at Upper Cayon one(1) Tech 9 semi automatic pistol and two(2) 9mm rounds of ammunition along with one(1) Galine 5.56 semi automatic rifle with seventeen(17) 5.56 rounds of ammunition were found in a hut. No one has been made answerable to these finds as yet but investigations are in progress.

The latest find brings the total number of illegal firearms taken in custody for the year to eighteen(18) and six(6) in the last week. The police wish to once again sincerely thank the general public for their continued assistance.
