More Places to Stay in Cuba’s Heritage Cities As Five Hotels Open
Meliá Cuba has added five new hotels with 409 rooms to its portfolio in the Spanish-speaking Caribbean island in the first quarter of 2018 – located in the heritage cities of Cienfuegos (Hotel La Union, Hotel Jagua and Hotel Meliá San Carlos) and Camagüey (Hotel Colón and Gran Hotel).
They represent a new style of hotels for the hotel company in Cuba, all of them small to medium-size hotels “with history” in exceptional historical buildings in destinations considered world heritage sites, Meliá said.
