New Day Foundation requests meeting with PM Douglas

Road Town, Tortola, BVI (CUOPM) – The New Day Foundation in the British Virgin Islands has requested a meeting with St. Kitts and Nevis’ Prime Minister the Right Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas while he is on the territory on official business on Friday.

A group spokesman said the New Day Foundation having learnt of Dr. Douglas’ presence in the BVI wants to meet with the CARICOM Head of Government with Prime Ministerial responsibility for HIV/AIDS “to foster linkage and share commonalities between countries as it relates to this chronic disease.”

Dr. Douglas has agreed to the request and will meet with the Executive Board of the New Day Foundation at the National AIDS Programme Conference Room located on second floor of the Betito Frett Building, upstairs of Little Switzerland.
