One dead in St Ann fatal accident

Kingston, Jamaica — A man died after sustaining injuries in a motor vehicle collision along the Runaway Bay main road in St Ann last night.

It is reported that about 7:50 pm, 27-year-old Thereon Powell was driving a Toyota Corolla motorcar along the roadway when he attempted to overtake another car. He allegedly lost control of the vehicle and collided with an oncoming SUV.

Powell was taken to the St Ann’s Bay Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
