Osbourne Sweeps Eight Awards at SKNABA Ceremony

BASSETERRE — Daivique Osbourne collected eight individual honours across two divisions as the St. Kitts Nevis Amateur Basketball Association (SKNABA) recognized the top performers of its 2026 season at its annual awards ceremony Saturday night at Basketball City, held as part of the SKNABA 3X3 Classic.

Osbourne led his teams in both the Junior League and the A Division to championships. In the Junior League, he finished with the most points and was named both regular-season and Finals Most Valuable Player. He repeated that sweep in the A Division, winning the most points title along with the regular-season and Finals MVP awards. He also led the A Division in steals and assists.

In the Premier League, Cecil Angel was named the most points winner and Finals MVP as he led his team, the Skywalkers, to their first Premier League title. Raniq Nichols was named regular-season MVP.

SKNABA President Glen Jeffers used the occasion to thank the Ministry of Sports, the National Bank Group of Companies, South Beach Promo, S.L. Horsfords and other sponsors for their significant support throughout 2026. He said the association values those partnerships and looks forward to continuing what he described as stellar relationships.

The ceremony also included a donation to the association’s youngest players. Former national team player Jason Noland donated new basketballs to each of the seven teams in the SKNABA Junior Division.

The awards were presented as part of the 3X3 Classic, in which five teams competed for cash prizes and bragging rights. Elite Ballers won the tournament, with a championship squad of Angel, Osbourne, Nigel Challenger and Tyquan Rogers.

The event combined competitive 3X3 basketball with recognition of the players and partners who contributed to the SKNABA’s 2026 season.
