Pay hike for Jamaica’s early childhood educators

KINGSTON, Jamaica, Friday May 13, 2016 – Early childhood education teachers are to benefit from a further 15 percent increase in salary this year.

State Minister of Education, Youth and Information Floyd Green, who made the announcement on Wednesday, said the pay hike was approved by Cabinet last month, and it is among several measures being implemented to strengthen education
