PM Drew Meets Investors On Major Development Proposal
BASSETERRE: Prime Minister Hon. Dr. Terrance Drew today (August 06) met with the senior leadership of Demerara Distillers (St. Kitts and Nevis) Limited (DDSKN) and Guyana’s BK Group of Companies at Government Headquarters.
The discussions centered on a major proposed development by Demerara Distillers that will significantly expand the company’s presence in St. Kitts and Nevis.
Operating in the Federation since 1996, Demerara Distillers (St. Kitts and Nevis) Limited has grown into one of the country’s leading manufacturers and distributors of premium spirits and beverages.
Also participating in the meeting was the BK Group of Companies, one of Guyana’s largest privately owned conglomerates, with major investments spanning infrastructure, aviation, construction, mining, tourism, shipping, and quarrying.
Later today, Demerara Distillers is expected to officially break ground on its new facility in St. Kitts, marking another significant investment in the Federation and reinforcing confidence in the country’s economic growth and investment climate.
