Prime Minister Douglas demands Federation’s youth to have discipline

ZIZ News…February 21, 2010 – The Prime Minister the Hon Dr Denzil Douglas has demanded the Federation’s youth to have discipline in themselves and not resort to a life of crime.

Speaking on the most recent edition of his ‘Ask the Prime Minister’ radio programme, Prime Minister Douglas says that criminal activity is the greatest challenge currently facing young people in St Kitts and Nevis. According to the Prime Minister: “I believe that our young people must be given the opportunity to prepare themselves for the future, but I demand one thing of you. I demand discipline; I demand discipline to pursue your work and discipline to stay away from the pulls and tugs of criminal activity which to a large extent is our greatest challenge among the young people of St Kitts and Nevis today.”
