Ross William Tysoe, new Australian High Commissioner to Jamaica

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Prime Minister Portia Simpson Miller on Monday accepted the credentials of the new Australian High Commissioner, Ross William Tysoe, at a meeting held at the Office of the Prime Minister in Kingston.

Simpson Miller congratulated Ambassador Tysoe and expressed confidence that he will be able to “improve the relations with Jamaica and Australia in several key areas and foster a stronger and lasting bond of friendship”.

The Ambassador thanked the Prime Minister for her confidence and expressed commitment to the advancing of relations.
