Rotary Club of Liamuiga host another spelling competition for Primary Schools

ZIZ News…Sept 29 2010 – Primary School children will put their knowledge to the test when they meet each other in a spelling Bee competition.

The Rotary Club of Liamuiga (RCL) will once again, this year, host its Spelling Bee Competition for Primary Schools which will be held on Thursday, 30 September 2010 in the ballroom of the Royal St Kitts Hotel starting at 6.00pm.

Each of the 23 Primary Schools in St Kitts has been asked to submit one (1) participant who must be a student at the school at the time of the Competition. Registration Forms must be submitted by Thursday, 23 September 2010.

Major sponsors of the RCL Spelling Bee Competition 2010 are Seven Seas through their distributor Ram’s Trading and Western Union of Jamaica.

For the first time, this year the winner of the RCL Competition will be sponsored to attend the Haliborange/Rotaract Regional Spelling Bee Final sponsored by Seven Seas which is this year being held in St. Lucia on 13 November. Sponsorship by Seven Seas will include the airfare and accommodation for the winner and one (1) parent to attend the Competition. One (1) member of RCL will also be sponsored to accompany the St Kitts winner and parent to St Lucia.

The Haliborange/Rotaract Regional Spelling Bee Final sponsored by Seven Seas will have its fourth outing this year and will have participants from Antigua, Dominica, Grenada, St Lucia, St Vincent and the new participant for this year, St Kitts.
