Senior Minister facilitates discussion on VAT

ZIZ News…Aug. 14, 2010 – Dr the Hon Timothy Harris, Senior Minister and Minister of Constituency Empowerment has allowed the general public another opportunity to learn more about VAT and how to manage their finances in these challenging economic times.

The opportunity comes at a public education forum slated for Thursday, August 19, 2010 at the Molyneux Primary School starting at 7 p.m.

Dr Harris on speaking on the adjournment of Parliament indicated that a four member panel will address issues relating to VAT, its implications on the cost of living, its implications for the agricultural sector and financial management issues.

The forum is timely coming after the recent passage of the VAT Bill and promises to be quite informative.
