SKN Diaspora Celebrates Heritage In Birmingham

More than 1500 members of the St. Kitts and Nevis diaspora came together in Birmingham, England, on Sunday for the Fifth Annual St. Kitts-Nevis Heritage Day.

The event, hosted at Birmingham’s Moseley Rugby Club, celebrated the Federation’s culture and heritage through music, food and entertainment.

Organisers say the annual gathering has grown over the past five years, attracting people from cities across the United Kingdom.

The event also gave younger members of the diaspora an opportunity to learn more about their roots and connection to St. Kitts and Nevis.

The Heritage Day was organized by the association of St. Kitts-Nevis Descendants, known as ASKAND.
